The vice-president of the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción (FLC), Luis Fernández; the Foundation's member, Vanesa Díaz; and its health and safety manager, Isabel León, visited the Envera office in Tenerife, where eighteen people with disabilities work and more than thirty students with disabilities are trained in various job training programs.
Accompanied by the director of the Envera delegation, Elisabeth Martín, the heads of the FLC have seen firsthand the work done by their trainees of the Training Programs in Alternation with Employment. Effort-T Painting y Strive to Build developed by the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción.
Through the internships that Envera provides to these student-workers, the FLC contributes altruistically to the maintenance of Envera's facilities, which allows this non-profit organization to sustainably improve the Special Employment Center and its training classrooms while allocating more resources for its social projects for the integration of people with intellectual disabilities.
Envera is "enormously grateful for this collaboration with the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, with which we are moving forward together towards equal opportunities".
