The Auditorio Nacional de Música de Madrid hosted, with a full house, the XVII Gran Gala de Zarzuela de Año Nuevo, an important event that unites music and solidarity, organized every year by Radio Sol XXI and the Fundación Sinfolírica and that in this edition was held for the benefit of Envera and its projects aimed at improving the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities, assisting and accompanying them throughout their lives.

Recalling that concert held in May with the universal tenor, Plácido Domingo, artists such as Antonio Vázquez, president of IAG, Ruth Iniesta, Israel Lozano, Juanma Cifuentes, Simón Orfila and Lola Casariego delighted the audience with a repertoire that covered the great themes of Zarzuela under the attentive baton of maestro Rubén Fernández, conductor of the Iuventas Symphony Orchestra, and accompanied by a group of choirs coordinated by Pedro Nebreda.

Musicians, singers, singers, rondallas, dancers and even a chotis ensemble, gathered under the umbrella of inclusion in this evening that was supported by Iberia, Arturo Soria Plaza, El Pimiento Verde, Cafés la Mexicana and KIA, committed entities that wanted to join this gala to continue supporting equal opportunities and social justice.

The President of Envera, José Antonio Quintero, expressed his "sincere gratitude" to all the participants and organizers of the Gala for supporting Envera's mission in such a special year as the 40th anniversary of its foundation, and assured that "the doors of this house are always open to anyone who wants to meet us".
