The Secretary of State for R&D&I receives Envera students doing their internships at the Ministry of Economy.

The Secretary of State for Research, Development and Innovation, Carmen Vela, and the Undersecretary of Economy and Competitiveness, Miguel Temboury, have received this Thursday at the Ministry of Economy the students with intellectual disabilities who are doing their training practices in various ministerial offices.

Since the signing last February of the collaboration agreement between Envera and the Ministry of Economy, a total of four students have been putting into practice the knowledge acquired during their apprenticeship in the Vocational Training Programs, Secondary Education and those training actions implemented by the Association's Job Placement Service.

During the event, Carmen, Javier, Noel and Miguel had the opportunity to talk about their experience working in the different areas of the public institution and expressed their gratitude to the Ministry's officials for the opportunity to train and work in the administration. The students showed their desire to stay once they finish their internships, to which the Undersecretary responded by encouraging them to apply for the next call for public employment.

web1For her part, the Secretary for R&D&I thanked the students for their involvement as well as the support of the tutors who accompany them in their daily tasks and the efforts of the entities that, like Envera, work daily for the social and labor insertion of people with disabilities. For Carmen Vela, the good results of this collaboration show the consolidation of the Ministry of Economy's commitment to society.
