Envera launches its 2018 solidarity calendar made jointly with Iberia to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the association dedicated to the comprehensive care of people with disabilities and the 90th anniversary of the airline.
Envera was born four decades ago as an initiative of Iberia employees, parents of people with intellectual disabilities, who joined forces to help their children get ahead. Today it is an organization open to the whole of society, serving 2,500 people with disabilities a year and providing stable employment for more than 600 at its offices in Madrid, Colmenar Viejo, Barcelona, Malaga, Tenerife and Las Palmas.
The calendar reflects the values of the Iberia company, which are also shared by Envera, and which underpin a society committed to excellence and equal opportunities, teamwork, enthusiasm and the desire to excel, where everyone can be the best at something and where everyone counts.
This calendar is a call for commitment to the challenges that people with disabilities face every day to overcome prejudices and achieve goals that seem impossible; achievements that are only possible with the necessary support and resources. And in this path of conquests Envera has always counted on Iberia, an airline without which Envera would not have reached so high and so far.
The images that appear in the calendar were taken by photographer Miguel Berrocal. It is priced at three euros, destined for the Association's social and labor integration projects, and can be purchased at Envera Punto de Inclusión in the Islazul Shopping Center, Carrefour Ciudad de la Imagen and Carrefour Valladolid Parquesol, as well as at the different Envera branches in Madrid, Colmenar Viejo, Barcelona, Malaga, Tenerife and Las Palmas.
