MAPOMA has done it again. After more than a year without the usual events that took place every weekend in Madrid, this pioneer sports organization in the organization of popular races has once again flooded the streets of the capital with enthusiasm, sport and solidarity with the 'Madrid corre por Madrid', one of the most emblematic meetings for runners. In addition, in this edition MAPOMA wanted to go further and has turned this reference event into a solidarity race, allocating a significant part of the funds raised to the social work of Envera.

Last Sunday five thousand runners participated in this ten-kilometer race renamed 'Madrid vuelve a correr por Madrid', organized by MAPOMA with the support of the Community and the City Council of Madrid, the Madrid por el Deporte Foundation, Banco Sabadell and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, among other companies and entities.

Also participating in the trophy ceremony were the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Community of Madrid, Marta Rivera; her deputy minister, Alberto Tomé; the general director of Sports, Coral Bistuer; and the territorial director of Banco Sabadell, Belén Sánchez.

Grande wanted to "thank MAPOMA for its support to the social projects that Envera carries out so that people with intellectual disabilities can take their place in the world with dignity" and highlighted the "special excitement to participate in this sport festival precisely in the year in which Envera celebrates its 30th anniversary of inclusive sport".
