People with intellectual disabilities from Envera work at Espacio Iberia in Buenos Aires.

  • Iberia is committed to the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market.
  • The airline's experience center is located on the iconic Florida Street in Argentina's capital, one of the city's busiest shopping, entertainment and dining areas.

Buenos Aires : March 27, 2025

Buenos Aires is the new venue selected to host Espacio Iberia, which has, as was the case in Madrid last year, support staff for events with intellectual disabilities from Envera, thus betting on labor inclusion and full accessibility in an open and inclusive space that has already opened its doors at number 202 of the iconic Florida Street and has more than 1000 square meters in which different activities are offered for almost four weeks.

All those who come to Espacio Iberia in Buenos Aires will be able to taste, free of charge, the gastronomy served on board the airline's planes and enjoy various activities that will be organized, such as show cooking, wine tastings and other Spanish products, among others.

In addition, to live the full experience on board Iberia, visitors will be able to try on the historical uniforms of the company's staff and will have a flight simulator to get at the controls of an airplane without having to leave the city.

Meetings and conferences will also be held with cultural and media leaders.

Throughout the month, until April 25, when the new Iberia popup store will be open, young people with disabilities from Envera's training programs in Madrid, "Destino Empleo" and "Gradúate en ESO", carry out different customer service tasks with the support of three job coaches.

To fly to Argentina, the Envera team has the support of the airline's crews "who have welcomed us with open arms," according to the professionals of this NGO, which has been working to ensure that people with disabilities occupy their place in the world with dignity since it was founded in 1977 and is the social work of Iberia.
