Envera's 'ENAIRE Project': 200 people with disabilities have found employment in the last year

  • The insertions have been achieved in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis and in many cases in one of the most affected sectors: the aeronautical industry.
  • Envera and ENAIRE are firmly committed to achieving the SDGs, equal opportunities and social responsibility.

Madrid | July 29, 2021

The ENAIRE Project started by Envera in the summer of 2020 with the support of this public entity has ended exceeding its expectations in a year marked by the COVID-19 crisis. Although initially the goal was to reach 180 insertions, Envera's Labor Insertion Service has made it possible for more than 200 people with disabilities to get a protected and supported employment in companies of different sectors, especially in the aeronautical sector.

One year ago, Envera obtained the highest score in the call for the awarding of grants 2019 promoted by ENAIRE and aimed at social entities to favor labor insertion and job creation activities for people with disabilities. With a grant of 85,000 euros and thanks to the ENAIRE Project, Envera has processed more than 160 offers and a total of 204 people with disabilities have accessed a job in the last year.

For Envera, labor insertion is one of the fundamental pillars in the fight for integration and constitutes one of the most urgent needs for people with intellectual disabilities, especially after the negative data yielded during the last year regarding the employment of these professionals.

The ENAIRE Project has enabled Envera's Labor Insertion Service, with offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Tenerife and Gran Canaria, to provide support and training to people with disabilities who are actively seeking employment, to prepare individualized labor insertion itineraries, to accompany the beneficiaries until they are fully integrated into the workplace, and to develop awareness campaigns and social responsibility (CSR) consulting for companies.

One of these activities has been the creation of a virtual "Club de faena" to provide workshops on professional training, resume writing and job interview preparation with the aim of increasing the chances of success in finding a job.

With social actions like this, ENAIRE positions itself as an exemplary entity in the public sector for the labor inclusion of people with disabilities, contributing to equal opportunities and to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the firm commitment that no one is left behind.
