After a long time waiting for this moment, the mobile unit of Radio Terrícola and an advance party of the radio team of the Envera Occupational Center, in Colmenar Viejo, Madrid, we have traveled to Barcelona in a lightning and exciting trip.
In Barcelona, in our Special Employment Center, we were met by all the workers who carry out, with great professionalism, an important task of which we are all proud.
Around 10:30 a.m., 36 students and four teachers from the Lycée Saint Marie de Nevers school arrived from Toulouse. The meeting had arrived and we were all tingling with anticipation for what we were about to share a morning together: they were learning Spanish and we were quite lost in French.
During the visit, our guests were able to get to know us a little better after the introduction and videos that Envera's communication team showed us. Afterwards, the professionals of the special employment center accompanied the whole group through the facilities and exchanged some impressions with the workers.
The radio team was prepared and ready to welcome them with the French musical hit of the moment: Louise Attaque and her J't'Emméne Au Vent. There was no doubt, we were going to have a great time. And so we did. With the invaluable translation help of Sylvie, we were able to enjoy a morning that was a prize for everyone.
We would like to thank the teachers and students of the Lycée Saint Marie de Nevers for their great sympathy and interest in meeting us. We hope and wish that they were able to take home a faithful vision of Envera's dedication to continue contributing ideas and efforts to achieve a better and fairer world for all.
