Broadcasters with intellectual disabilities from Envera have traveled to the Vallehermoso Stadium of the City of Madrid to cover, with the mobile unit of Radio Terrícola, the II Pa Tós Marathon of the Gomaespuma Foundation that has brought together more than 2.000 people and several celebrities such as El Langui, Brianeitor, the athlete Carmen González, Alba Dunas and Juanma Latorre of Vetusta Morla, the actors of Campeones, Tontxu, Biuti Bambú and, of course, the duo Gomaespuma, Juan Luis Cano and Guillermo Fesser, promoters of the Foundation.

In an event that has had Dj Pichurra as host, Radio Terrícola has inaugurated the performances that have been happening on stage on the morning of Sunday October 6 after celebrating "the shortest marathon in the world" of 42 meters and 19 centimeters and the first Gomaolimpiadas.

At the beginning of the program, we recalled the collaboration between Envera and the Gomaespuma Foundation, such as the shipment of sports equipment that we have made, together with our parent company Iberia, to support the humanitarian project they are developing there.

El Langui and Brianeitor were the first to stop by the set of Radio Terrícola and talk about their experience as artists, giving a real lesson on how to face life when things are not always easy.

In the second round of interviews, athletes Carmen Giménez and Óscar González talked about their daily lives as top-level athletes. For Giménez, who is in a wheelchair after being assaulted by her ex-partner, "we have to see disability as something that is part of our society and that is variable".

We also welcome the words of the national athletics champion in announcing that "there is a legal deadline, December 2026, for the five federations for athletes with disabilities to be integrated from the single-sport federations".

Guillermo Fesser, founder of the Gomaespuma Foundation, and Ainhoa Serrano, Iberia's Social Impact manager, closed a program full of demands, laughter and in which we were surrounded by incredible people who prove every day that we can all be the best at something.

The Radio Terrícola program was conducted by Chús Herranz and Nuria Espí, Envera residents, Mario Sánchez, student of the Training Service, with the support of Sonia Calvo, Sebastián Carmona and David Ferrero, from the Envera Communication team.
