During the past weekend, on April 25 and 26, more than 40 pairs of different categories participated in the charity Paddle Tournament promoted by Grupo envera.
The matches took place at the municipal courts of the Ciudad Deportiva Juan Antonio Samaranch in Colmenar Viejo.
The mayor of Colmenar Viejo, Miguel Angel Santamaria, and the councilors of Youth and Social Affairs, Lourdes de la Morena and Carolina Calvo, attended the awards ceremony and gifts, once disputed on Sunday, the finals of each category.
The tournament has been a success of organization in its technical part, responsibility of envera and the Club de Pádel Colmenar. It has been very competitive in sports and fun and enjoyable in its social aspect.
As an anecdotal note, our sports partner, Roberto Navas, won the tournament in the mixed category.
The participants were grateful for the bag of gifts donated by the envera Group, as well as the tickets raffled by Iberia Express. They also showed their appreciation to envera for its closeness, support, and commitment to the group of people with functional diversity. From envera we would like to thank the kindness of the restaurant La Sede, which offered a lunch during the event.
