In collaboration with

Vicente del Bosque, living legend on Radio Terrícola.

Madrid | February 28, 2020

Today's program will go down in the history of Radio Terrícola as one of those epic and indelible moments in the memory of all of us who were lucky enough to be there. The fact itself is not that we were visited by the best coach in the history of soccer in our country, no, that would certainly be memorable, it is about having shared a morning with a person who has done a lot for many, and a lot very good for sport and for people with disabilities in this country. (it seems a phrase of Marano Rajoy).

But Vicente del Bosque also exudes kindness, generosity and sympathy, he is approachable and, without a doubt, he is one of us. How can we not be overjoyed to know that he is already our sports ambassador for the 30th anniversary of the Club Deportivo Ícaro Envera, a milestone of inclusive sports in Spain?

In the Envera sports center in Colmenar Viejo, the Arena Envera, as our dear Amadeo Meler, sports director, says, we prepared a great welcome for the mister: more than300 Envera sportsmen were waiting for him visibly excited, ready to give everything so that Vicente del Bosque would feel at home, loved and proud to be among us.

After the exciting tour of Cuqui, Envera's legendary sportswoman, carrying the Olympic torch, she was given the eternal flame symbolizing the sporting spirit of our association. After a few words of thanks from José Antonio Quintero, our president, and the delivery of gifts, we gave way to the special radio program dedicated to the super mister.

Antonio Michael could not miss the microphones, the media phenomenon of the airwaves, the acclaimed Pichichi of earthly sports Mondays, accompanied by enthusiastic collaborators and soccer teachers, took over, raising the climate of euphoria throughout the pavilion causing an unstoppable barrage of questions that were very kindly answered by our guest.

Good atmosphere, a lot of participation and the unanimous delirium of all attendees who hailed Vicente del Bosque as a true hero. He had some emotional words for everyone, especially for Amadeo Meler, for whom he asked for a big applause for "the good work" he has been developing during these 30 years for inclusive sport.

Today, in the heart of Envera, of all of us who make it up, we still vividly remember these words: "We are different, but also unique and irreplaceable", words of our president, who reiterated his gratitude to Vicente del Bosque for his support, his light and his strength.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
