Iberia, our main patron and with whom we have a special relationship, celebrated last Sunday the 25th anniversary of Hangar 6, a space located in La Muñoza (Madrid) specially designed to provide shelter for aircraft to be repaired and which, with a surface area of twenty thousand square meters, is completely open-plan.
The aeronautical company wanted to take advantage of the occasion to organize a solidarity race in favor of Grupo Envera - APMIB and the Fundación mano a mano, in which Iberia employees, families and friends participated.
Envera, continuing with its commitment to inclusive sports, collaborated in the organization of the race with volunteers and the installation of a booth which showed the details made by the users of the occupational center of Colmenar Viejo.
In addition, the Envera Group's digital radio station, Radio Terrícola, did not want to miss the event and moved their studios to the runways, also taking charge of the public address system and animation of the race.
Pedro Sobrino, CEO of Grupo Envera, participated in the presentation of trophies to the winners and closed the round of speeches at the end of the event.
After finishing the races in the adult and children's categories, Iberia invited all attendees to tour the hangar 6 facilities.
