Madrid | November 25

Following the shipment of 50,000 FFP2 masks in the first days after the disaster caused by the hurricane in Valencia, Envera has donated furniture and equipment to help rebuild the headquarters of social organizations that serve people with intellectual disabilities in the areas most affected by the flood, with the aim of enabling them to recover their activity as soon as possible.

"The return to normality and routine for these people is essential for their welfare and that of their families, especially after what happened in these weeks," as explained from Envera, an entity born in 1977 from the Iberia company and dedicated to accompany people with intellectual disabilities throughout their life cycle to occupy their place in the world with dignity.

This Saturday, several pieces of furniture donated by Envera were delivered to the Valencian Federation of People with Intellectual Disabilities(FEVADIS). In addition, educational material has also been sent to the 'Alas' Nursery School, located in Catarroja, through Soñar Despierto, an organization with which Envera maintains a close collaboration.

The furniture sent was part of a larger shipment that was prepared on Friday by disabled residents and volunteers from Envera and Iberia, along with neighbors from Barajas (the Madrid district where the NGO is headquartered), who filled a truck and a van with materials and, above all, hope so that those most in need can recover, if not all, an important part of their lives as they were before the catastrophe.
