Envera, through its Solidarity Recycling Center, has donated 50,000 FFP2 masks to be used by those affected, volunteers and emergency services that are working at ground zero of the catastrophe caused by the DANA in Valencia, which has so far left more than 200 dead and 89 missing.
Las mascarillas han sido preparadas y paletizadas por profesionales con discapacidad del Servicio de Transporte y Logística de Envera, que se han encargado también de su traslado a la Fundación SEPLA - Ayuda, entidad que también va a enviar a Valencia un centenar de hidrolimpiadoras, otras tantas bombas de achique, mangueras, apliques y alargadores eléctricos.
Both the president of the Foundation, Vicente Alonso Fogué, and the general manager of Envera, Enrique Grande, were present at the delivery of the material in Madrid prior to its shipment on Wednesday, in coordination with the Emergency Logistics Center.
Grande ha transmitido "todo nuestro apoyo a las víctimas de esta terrible tragedia así como el reconocimiento a todos los servicios de emergencia que están dando lo máximo para apoyar a quien más lo necesita".
Por su parte, Fogué ha confirmado que las mascarillas "van a salir en un tráiler hacia Valencia porque son totalmente necesarias. Hemos hablado con el Centro Logístico de la Emergencia y están deseando que lleguen".
As indicated by SEPLA, the transport has been coordinated by DANA WARRIORS and upon arrival at destination it will be escorted by a vehicle provided by the Maritime Customs Service of Valencia.
Envera también ha puesto en marcha una campaña de captación de fondos entre sus trabajadores, socios y colaboradores para enviar, junto con la compañía Iberia y SEPLA - Ayuda, apoyo económico a los afectados por las inundaciones. En este sentido, la aerolínea se ha comprometido a duplicar la cantidad recaudada por ambas entidades sociales.
