- The Talía Mini Choir gave a concert in the shopping center square.
Madrid | November 23
Christmas has arrived at the Islazul shopping center, the largest in the city of Madrid, with its traditional lighting of lights, which took place last Friday and featured an emotional performance by the Talía Mini Choir in collaboration with Envera.
The children's voices of the choir, directed by Silvia Sanz, flooded Islazul's central square in a concert for inclusion that reviewed some of the most popular international Christmas carols that inspired Islazul's visitors to enjoy the best Christmas atmosphere.
Islazul and Envera have maintained a close collaboration since the launch of the pioneering project 'Envera Inclusion Point' in Europe, which has created twelve jobs for people with disabilities, given a second life to objects and suitcases lost in airplanes and airports and has an impact on eight Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda.
On the other hand, Envera and the Grupo Concertante Talía also work together in inclusive cultural actions and social responsibility. In this sense, after the concert in Islazul, Envera gave the choir several musical instruments for musicians without resources who do not have access to this type of material.
All this demonstrates the networkingbased on alliances (SDG 17), which Envera has been developing in recent years and which places people with intellectual disabilities as the protagonists of solidarity. Also now that Christmas is coming.
