Envera and Usyncro have received this Thursday the Talent and Logistics award for the project Inclusive Innovation in Logistics: Empowering Talent, which both organizations are jointly developing to create technological jobs for people with disabilities.
The award, granted by the Logistics Forum, was collected by Envera's general manager, Enrique Grande, and Usyncro's general manager, Cristina MartĂn, during the fair. Logistics & Automation which is currently being held at IFEMA. During the ceremony, presided by Gabino Diego, founder and CEO of the Forum, and MarilĂł Peris, general manager of the Logistics Business School, the multinational DB Schenker, the ClĂşster da FunciĂłn LoxĂstica de Galicia and the SEASHIPPING Project have also been recognized.
Diego stressed the importance of "recognizing the talent of people" in a sector where technology is of great importance.
Envera, a non-profit organization created in 1977 by employees of the Iberia company, fathers and mothers of people with disabilities, is today a large organization that employs more than 950 professionals with disabilities thanks to the services it offers to companies and which, in many cases, are directly related to the logistics sector (handling, laundry, waste management, supervision of aeronautical components...).
In the case of technology, a sector in which Envera has been working for more than 30 years offering digital solutions to companies, "the alliance with Usyncro helps us to train and explore new employment niches for people with disabilities in a sector in full development", as Enrique Grande explains.
This recognition for the "Best Inclusion and Diversity Project" is in addition to the Special Logistics Leaders Award that Envera received in 2022 from the employers' organization UNO.
Grande thanked "the Logistics Forum, thanks to Usyncro and special thanks to Cristina for helping us to promote inclusive work through technology and support Envera's mission, demonstrating that we can all be the best at something.
