Pedro Sobrino highlights the relevance of the media in giving prominence to people with functional diversity
Madrid - The general manager of Grupo Envera, Pedro Sobrino, received the extraordinary Golden Antenna awarded by the Federation of Spanish Radio and Television Associations at a gala held on Saturday, November 22 at the Gran Casino de Aranjuez in Madrid.
The Federation valued "the impressive solidarity work carried out by envera with people with disabilities" and granted an award that was recognized by all those attending the gala with a standing ovation at the end of the broadcast of a recently produced video where people with functional diversity are the protagonists.
Immediately after, Pedro Sobrino thanked the award that "recognizes the work of professionals who are dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with functional diversity, mainly intellectual" and stressed the importance and significance of the work carried out for 37 years at a time of renewal and momentum to reach more people because "we need the media to publicize the work we do, We need you to give prominence to people with functional diversity because we need to raise awareness in society as a whole, companies and institutions to collaborate with us so that we can continue our work and serve, every day, more people who need it, and who, I assure you, appreciate it from the bottom of their hearts".
The general manager of Grupo envera, after briefly explaining the work of APMIB and its birth as an initiative of IBERIA employees, invited everyone to "come to our centers and get to know what we do, the people we serve and tell everyone about it".
Numerous figures from the world of the media attended this XLII edition of the Golden Antennas, as well as the actors starring in the TVE series "Cuéntame cómo pasó"; communication directors of large companies such as IBERIA, RENFE, FCC and BANKIA, while in the political sphere Pedro Sánchez, secretary general of the PSOE, was present to collect his award.
