Iberdrola and Envera inaugurate the 'Dis-Friendly Classroom', a sustainable space for the training of people with intellectual disabilities.

Envera and Iberdrola have inaugurated this Wednesday the Dis-Friendly Classrooman outdoor space, sustainable and made from recycled materials by volunteers of the company together with students with intellectual disabilities over several days that have taken place over the past six months.

Iberdrola was represented at the inauguration by Begoña Barberá, Head of Social Projects and Diversity; Javier Azorín, Head of Talent Spain; Mónica Armenta, who led the project; and a representation of the volunteers who participated in the initiative. Envera's president, José Antonio Quintero, and general manager, Enrique Grande, as well as its teachers and students, were present.

Located at Envera's headquarters in Madrid, where the Training and Labor Insertion Service of the social entity is located, the Dis-Friendly Classroom will allow training activities to be carried out, as well as the delivery of workshops and seminars in which Iberdrola professionals will also participate.

Thanks to this corporate volunteering, an outdoor space has been transformed with the manufacture, in the workshop of the Envera Occupational Center, of furniture from recycled wood, as well as the conditioning and landscaping of the and the adjoining one, a children's garden for the children of Early Attention, in keys of sustainability.

For this inauguration, a special program was also made with the mobile unit of Radio Terrícola, where in addition to sharing the experience of this corporate social volunteering, Iberdrola and Envera have unveiled the new project on which they are already working together: the sustainable clean point that will see the light in the coming months.
