Fifteen unemployed people with disabilities have started their classes within the Training Project in Alternation with Employment (PFAE). Agrojardín Enverawhich started last March 24 and lasts for one year. This project, offered by Envera at its headquarters in Tenerife, is a mixed employment and training process in which participants obtain a training-apprenticeship contract as an agricultural laborer and for which they receive 75% of the Minimum Interprofessional Wage (SMI). This initiative is subsidized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy and the Canary Islands Employment Service.
With this course, Envera's students with disabilities in Tenerife will officially obtain the certificates of professionalism in Auxiliary Activities in Agriculture (AGAX0208) and Auxiliary Activities in Nurseries, Gardens and Garden Centers (AGAO0108), in addition to receiving other complementary training aimed at facilitating their insertion in the labor market.
