The 44th program has been full of solidarity on all four sides: from the solidarity developed by companies and foundations that make initiatives such as Envera possible, to the solidarity exercised by beneficiaries who collaborate in helping their own colleagues, without forgetting the solidarity role played by partners and friends.
SUSANA POSADA, head of communications and CSR at Leroy Merlin, after reporting that they have now opened to the general public, said that during the closure they have not stopped putting the social focus on helping vulnerable people, collaborating as suppliers at the national level. "If this pandemic has taught us anything, it is that if we collaborate together the impact is greater", since "between all of us we can make a more inclusive and fairer society". David Ferrero thanked him for the contribution made to Envera of 150 waterproof suits and 7,000 tights, among other donations, noting that it has been a great example of collaboration. "We listen to everyone and try to meet all the needs in this crisis," concluded the guest who received the first applause of the earthly morning for her empathy, generosity and immense solidarity. The MUSIC that followed the first applause dedicated to this collaborating company, stirred feelings with its very current lyrics: "No se te ocurre pensar que te vas a rendir..." (Don't ever think that you're going to give up...) interpreted and composed by Cristina Rubio.
MARCOS GONZÁLEZ, president of Corresponsables (the foundation that in 2015 awarded the Corresponsables Prize to Radio Terrícola, Envera's radio station), began by acknowledging the emotional change that the pandemic has meant for him. He then commented that it is good to worry, but it is better to take care, to act: "we have been working like never before. We have published 1,200 news items. Because his work consists of publicizing initiatives such as those carried out by Envera "to make a more sustainable and fairer world". It was very important to know that the 11th Call for Awards is still open for small organizations that do not have a voice in the traditional media, which are chosen by a jury of 75 Spanish-speaking academics. He did not fail to give a scoop: "while last year there were 600 applicants, now there are more than 850 organizations submitted to date". "All are welcome," he said, after pointing out that more media are needed to disseminate the work of these organizations because it is essential to spread the word about what you do "so that it goes further". To the anonymous question of a listener about whether the solidarity of now will be a flower of a day, Marcos Gonzalez has responded categorically that no: "now it is more necessary than ever, but it does not end here, you make the road as you go". And he received the second round of applause of the day.
