"Together we are stronger" on Radio Terrícola. Program 55

Madrid | June 3, 2020

Today's program already anticipated a certain normality that will come on Monday to Radio Terricola. At last the microphones will be in the hands of the real protagonists, the beneficiaries of Envera, who will resume their usual activity. They are so eager to get together that when Monday arrives it will be difficult to contain their excitement. As a rehearsal, today we came close to tears when we heard the farewell to a "gentleman aviator" on his last landing.

ANA MAGALLÓ, Director of Envera's Care Services, launched the program with the news that yesterday all the people in the four residences left isolation. Gradually, those who are still at home will be reincorporated until the activity is completely resumed. In fact, the early care service has started today and the telematic care is being maintained. It is still too early to open the dining room, which will do so when there is no longer any risk and with all the sanitary measures in place. Ana said goodbye celebrating the attitude maintained by the residents, families and workers of Envera during the confinement and concluded by saying that we are all congratulated. A round of applause was the way to thank her.

The Happy Success section presented by ANTONIO MARTÍN "MICHAEL started with a big laugh. The happiness of our pichichi had an explanation because his beloved Maria Carrillo has proposed to go to Miami, Rio de Janeiro, and is already asking for the engagement ring. She also told him that she dreamed that she was going with him for a walk and that's why today she was so happy and so beautiful in her white dress. Meanwhile, Antonio is still busy making a cell phone out of salt dough. Today we had a lot of film and with the tune "Foto Aurora, we develop in an hour" we got the news that Adrián has already got the 36 Kodak photos that he will pass to Angélica, who will then give them to Sergio to finally end up in Michael's hands.

IÑAKI IMAZ, manager of iPLay, has taken us back to childhood to feel the pleasure of a child in a playground. Because his job is to design playgrounds for the little ones to play in freedom and, more importantly, without any exclusion. That is why he is in charge of designing the playground sponsored by Iberia for Envera, although given the complexity of reproducing an airplane, it will be themed in continuous rubber flooring. His company's objective is "to add value to a space, and what we like most are inclusive games with access to all abilities so that all children share a common space. In short, to give visibility so that children who do not have a disability are aware of it.

ÁMAR BASSIC, Iberia's digital volunteer in Envera and literal nephew (let's remember that his aunt's name is Envera), has arrived today with a new teaching, that of the sage and the scorpion. A monk was walking with his disciple when the latter saw a drowning scorpion and tried to save it but was stung by the animal. After three attempts with the same result, the sage explained to him that the nature of the scorpion is to sting and the disciple's nature is to save it, so he decided to rescue the shipwrecked man himself with a leaf to get rid of the sting. The moral, in Ámar's words, is that we each have our own nature and we must be who we are without putting aside our values even in the face of those who may harm us. This deserved a round of applause, a prelude to the one that would come after listening to a video sent by a fellow pilot of Vicente Alonso, known to all as Titón, on his last flight as a "gentleman aviator". From the cockpit and shortly before making his last landing, Titón received the most emotional and deserved farewell for his human qualities and great heart. A last flight in which he was not accompanied by his family, as is tradition in Iberia, due to the pandemic. Precisely this last flight, from Montevideo to Madrid, arrived loaded with medical supplies. His own daughter, as a doctor, has taken her first professional step working in Ifema (like father, like son...) And Titón himself has donated material and has made his penultimate flights in the health corridor, so necessary in these times. "Good shot commander", has been the wish of his colleagues who thank him for his legacy and wish him to be very happy in his new stage.

He closed the program with the most emotional applause and tomorrow will continue because there are good people everywhere you look, and we rely on them to reach higher and further. And also in our radio, earthlings, tomorrow more.
