Kreab has signed a collaboration agreement with the Envera Group by which the consulting firm will support various actions to raise awareness and labor integration of people with disabilities in Madrid and Barcelona. Kreab will offer its clients and collaborating companies access to advice on compliance with the General Law on Disability (former LISMI), as well as other actions to raise awareness and highlight functional diversity. Today all companies with more than 50 employees are legally required to hire 2% of people with disabilities or adopt alternative measures, but few comply.
According to Eugenio Martínez Bravo, Managing Partner of Kreab Iberia, "this agreement goes beyond simple compliance with legislation; it is a real commitment shared by the entire organization. We are convinced that we have to give back to society part of what we have received, and we have found in Envera a suitable partner for this". The consulting firm will implement various corporate volunteering actions for its 100 employees in Spain, distributed between the offices in Madrid and Barcelona. Kreab and Envera will also hold a meeting with leading experts on Business and Disability.
Envera has special employment centers from which it offers a wide range of professional services developed by this group (from handling to laundry or digitalization, among others) as well as outsourcing services (gardening, janitorial, administrative...), which companies can hire as an alternative formula to comply with current legislation, in addition to donations. Thanks to this, Envera employs half a thousand people with disabilities and cares for more than 2,500, providing them with early care, training, job placement, leisure and sports, day centers and residences, as well as guardianship when the family can no longer take care of them.
For Pedro Sobrino, Managing Director of Envera, "the agreement with Kreab represents a great opportunity for us, as it is one of the leading firms in Communication, Reputation and Public Affairs consulting, and to be able to convey to many of the main companies eradicated in Spain our social commitment, the opportunity to get involved in equal opportunities and improving the lives of people, and the opportunity to transfer to their customers something as demanded as a corporate social responsibility that makes a difference.
