Envera develops, through its delegation in Tenerife, the Training Program in Alternation with Employment (PFAE). Agrojardín EnveraThis program is aimed at 15 people with disabilities who receive a training and apprenticeship labor contract that allows them to study the Professional Certificates of Auxiliary Activities in Agriculture and Auxiliary Activities in Nurseries, Gardens and Garden Centers, in a free activity financed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy and the Canary Islands Employment Service.

Among other activities, Envera students have had the opportunity to collaborate with the most vulnerable families on the island through the donation of quality organic food to the Red Cross. In total, in recent days, 80 kilograms of vegetables such as pumpkins, chard, lettuce, lettuce, bubangos or zucchini have been delivered.

For the students/workers, it is an activity that "has been worthwhile" despite the difficulties they have had to face, mainly caused by the heat wave "which has affected the nursery in particular".

As they relate, "first, we had to prepare the land, sow, take care of the crops, overcome the difficulties of water shortages... But the enormous effort made has been worth it so that the families who need it most can have fresh food in their homes".

For their part, those responsible for the Tenerife delegation of Envera celebrate that, with this collaboration, one of the objectives of the PFAE is consolidated: to be a service of social interest and contribute to SDG 2 'Zero Hunger' of the UN Agenda 2030, among others.
