- Radio Terrícola celebrates ten years of history
Madrid | February 13, 2024
On the occasion of World Radio Day, which UNESCO commemorates every February 13, the Radio Terrícola studios of Envera's occupational centers in Madrid, Gran Canaria and Colmenar Viejo, held a special joint program with the participation of people with intellectual disabilities along with regular collaborators and friends, such as Eugenio García, Communications and External Relations Manager of Coca-Cola European Partners; Amadeo Meler, former Sports Director of Envera and who gives his name to its sports pavilion; or Jesús de Frutos, Envera volunteer and promoter of the first Radio Terrícola studio.
A very special "three-way" program thanks to the live connection of the three studios in which the most special moments lived in Radio Terrícola throughout its ten years of history have been remembered.
On the other hand, on the occasion of this International Radio Day, Envera has made a special program with the mobile unit of Radio Terrícola from the headquarters of the Military Emergency Unit (UME) at the Torrejón air base (Madrid) with the participation of students with intellectual disabilities from Envera who have interviewed officers and military of the UME.
