Next Wednesday, September 21, Envera welcomes a delegation of Paralympic athletes recently arrived from the Rio Games and the Spanish Paralympic Committee, in an event that will take place at the Association's headquarters in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid).
The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the Envera 25 Years with Sport Tournament (mini-basketball and adapted field hockey), in which athletes from Envera and the Iberia Club will participate.
This will be followed by the reception of the Spanish Paralympic Team's entourage, in which 60 athletes will participate. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. and will include the participation of the athletes, the Spanish Paralympic Committee and the Iberia company.
The event will be held under the slogan "we take off our hats", hashtag that is accompanying the great performance of our Paralympians.
For Envera, an entity that has been working for almost 40 years for the social and labor insertion of people with disabilities and 25 years betting on sport as a means of inclusion, "it is an honor to be able to support our athletes in this emotional event in which we will recognize their successes and, above all, their capacity for effort and overcoming, demonstrating with their example that we can all be the best at something", as stated by Pedro Sobrino, Envera's General Director.
