Innova UPS collaborates with Radio Terrícola to promote its solidarity airwaves

Innova donates an Uninterruptible Power Supply System to Envera to guarantee the continuity of Radio Terrícola's broadcasts.

Madrid | June 10, 2019

Every day, from the Envera Occupational Center in Colmenar Viejo, people with intellectual disabilities of this non-profit social entity perform their radio programs as part of their therapeutic workshops. In addition to improving and training skills such as communication, language or the use of technology, the intrepid reporters from Radio Terrícola speak from their microphones to the world about current news, sports, music, leisure plans or conduct interviews with personalities from the world of culture, politics or business.

Thanks to being an on-line radio station, Radio Terrícola has become an open window to the world of intellectual disabilities, whose solidarity waves travel the globe breaking down prejudices and whose broadcasters prove that we can all be the best at something.

One of the latest companies to pass through its microphones has been Innova Seguridad Eléctricaspecialized in power electronics, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and voltage stabilizers. In a special program that took place during the visit of Innova's managers to Envera's Integral Disability Center, Radio Terrícola's reporters took the opportunity to ask for a UPS that would guarantee the continuity of broadcasts in the event of a power failure and not stop the programs that Envera's beneficiaries prepare daily.

On June 6, Esther Ayuso, Innova's technical director; Francisco González, commercial director; and Cristina Tobar, administration manager, delivered to Envera a state-of-the-art, efficient and ecological UPS of the INEO range, which allows uninterrupted power supply to Radio Terrícola's central studio with an autonomy of thirty minutes.

Angélica Rey, coordinator of the Envera Occupational Center, thanked those responsible for Innova for the donation and assured that "it will benefit the more than 120 people at the Envera Occupational Center by facilitating their integration through the radio".

For Envera, the support of socially responsible companies such as Innova is essential to achieve its mission: the full social and labor integration of people with intellectual disabilities, improving their quality of life and equal opportunities.
