Eleven Envera students with disabilities obtain the professional certificate after completing internships in companies.

The students of the Savia Envera Project, an initiative launched by Envera with the support of the Government of the Canary Islands and the European Union, have completed their internships in workplaces belonging to the Certificate of Professionalism in Installation and Maintenance of Gardens and Green Areas. Thanks to this official training, eleven people with disabilities have completed a total of 96 hours of training practices that have allowed them to come into contact with the business world and put into practice the knowledge acquired during the previous months.
Pullmantur Cruceros and Envera begin their collaboration to promote the social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.

Pullmantur Cruceros -the only shipping company in the market that brings the Spanish lifestyle to the way of traveling on a cruise- and Envera -a non-profit organization that has been working for more than 40 years for the social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities- have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at promoting the social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities and raising awareness in society.
Envera presents the modernization of its Day Center for People with Intellectual Disabilities and Severe Support Needs.

The president of Envera, José Antonio Quintero, and its general manager, Pedro Sobrino, have presented the new facilities of the Day Center for People with Great Support Needs, where Envera cares for 33 people with intellectual disabilities over 65%. The aim of the Day Center is to provide rehabilitative care, personal and social habilitation, hygiene care, personal care and specialized assistance, in order to achieve the maximum development of the capabilities and possibilities of social integration of people with intellectual disabilities and high support needs.
Envera receives the National Award for Excellence in Inclusion and Occupational Risk Prevention

The Alares Foundation has recognized the social work of Envera with the National Award for Excellence in Inclusion and Occupational Risk Prevention for People with Disabilities in the category of Special Employment Center at a gala presided over by the Minister of Health, Consumer Affairs and Social Welfare, María Luisa Carcedo.
Innova UPS collaborates with Radio Terrícola to promote its solidarity airwaves

Innova donates an Uninterruptible Power Supply System to Envera to guarantee the continuity of Radio Terrícola's broadcasts. Every day, from Envera's Occupational Center in Colmenar Viejo, people with intellectual disabilities of this non-profit social entity perform their radio programs as part of their therapeutic workshops. In addition to improving and training skills such as communication, language or the use of technology, the intrepid reporters of Radio Terrícola talk, from their microphones to the world, about current news, sports, music, leisure plans or conduct interviews with personalities from the world of culture, politics or business.
Ibercaja Foundation collaborates with Envera in equipping a Multisensory Space for people with intellectual disabilities.

Last Tuesday took place the delivery of agreements of the Ibercaja Foundation to the entities selected in the 2019 Call for Social Projects. Envera's project "Journey to the five senses" was one of those selected and aims to provide equipment and means to the multisensory room that Envera's beneficiaries will be able to enjoy in their Residence for the Elderly of 45 years old with intellectual disabilities and premature aging.
Seven people with disabilities from Envera begin their internships at the Colmenar Viejo City Hall.

Seven young people who are preparing to enter the labor market in the occupational center of Envera - Association of Employees of Iberia Parents of People with Disabilities, have been incorporated this Wednesday to the municipal staff of the City of Colmenar Viejo for work experience for the next three months. The incorporation of these young people is the result of the agreement signed in 2018 between the City Council and the non-profit organization that comes to expand and strengthen the collaboration between the two entities to achieve greater and better integration of people with intellectual disabilities.
Envera and the World Compliance Association sign a collaboration agreement

On April 9, 2019 took place in Madrid the signing of the collaboration agreement between the World Compliance Association (WCA) and Envera- Asociación de Empleados de Iberia Padres de Personas con Discapacidad. Through this agreement, both organizations show their involvement in the implementation of projects related to compliance and the social and labor integration of people with disabilities.
Envera premieres its new play to bring inclusion to the youngest through theater

The theater company Cuento contigo, formed by beneficiaries and professionals of the Envera Occupational Center, has premiered its new musical storyteller Cuando las niñas vuelan alto, an adaptation of the text by Raquel Díaz Reguera, with the support of Iberia and the NGO Aviación Sin Fronteras. The Cuento contigo project aims to bring inclusion to the youngest children and make visible, through theater, the capabilities of people with intellectual disabilities, breaking down prejudices and demonstrating that we can all be the best at something. This adaptation also extols other important values such as equality, respect for diversity and the desire to excel, demonstrating that with the necessary support, there are no unattainable heights for anyone.
