With the end of the year also comes the closing of some annual projects developed by Grupo Envera - Asociación de Empleados de Iberia Padres de Personas con Discapacidad, as is the case of the 2014-2015 Seed Project, framed within the Integrated Itineraries of Labor Insertion Projects, co-financed with community funds from the European Social Fund and by the Special Employment Plan of the Canary Islands. This Project, which has been developed since January 2015, includes the delivery of two certificates of professionalism (agriculture and gardening) for unemployed people with physical, intellectual and/or sensory disabilities equal to or greater than 33%.

The Department of Family and Social Services of the City Council of Colmenar Viejo and its Volunteer Information Point section have convened as every year the Volunteers of the Year Awards, which were presented on December 2 on the occasion of the celebrations of the International Volunteer Day. If in 2014 one of the winners was Miguel Ángel Ruano, who for years has been collaborating in the sports activities developed by Grupo Envera to facilitate the inclusion of people with disabilities, this year two of our volunteers have been recognized for their work. The Serviempresa Group, made up of the most representative companies in the office material and computer consumables supply sector throughout Spain, has donated 5,000 euros to Envera for the expansion of the Colmenar Viejo Residence by 13 more places. Dely Fenoy, manager of this business alliance, together with another of its representatives, Antonio Gayo, were in charge of delivering to Envera's general manager a donation "which is the result," they said, "of the effort of each and every one of the members of this platform".

The Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations announces, through publication in the Official State Gazette, the selective process for admission, as permanent labor personnel in the category of Management and Common Services Assistant, in a total of 70 positions reserved to be filled by persons with intellectual disabilities. As in previous calls, Envera Group launches the Oposita conmigo program with which it intends, through a comprehensive training course that reviews the seven blocks of the agenda, to prepare people who decide to bet on trying to get this job opportunity.

Fifteen students have successfully completed the theoretical-practical course of Warehouse Manager given by Grupo Envera - Asociación de Empleados de Iberia Padres de Personas con Discapacidad and financed by the Consejería de Políticas Sociales y Familia de la Comunidad de Madrid and the European Social Fund. This training, part of the AILA X employment project, aims to provide students with basic skills in areas such as marketing, warehouse design, preparation and dispatch of goods and stock management.

The City Council of Coslada and Grupo Envera - Association of Employees of Iberia Parents of People with Disabilities, in collaboration with Sergio Marín, are organizing this Sunday, December 27th, a charity soccer match at the initiative of the Asociación desafío Mógena in order to raise funds for the early care programs that Grupo Envera develops for children between 0 and 6 years old with disabilities and developmental disorders.

The president of Iberia, Luis Gallego, accompanied by his full management committee, visited this Wednesday the living nativity scene that Envera-APMIB organizes every Christmas at its facilities in Colmenar Viejo. Beneficiaries of the Residence for the Elderly, the Day Center for the Seriously Affected and the Occupational Center recreated with the professionals who work with them every day different scenarios of the Nativity Scene to share their illusion and joy, in an open day in which family and friends also participated.

The close collaboration between Salesforce and Grupo Envera was once again exemplified in an activity organized last Friday at the Air Museum. Professionals from the Salesforce Corporate Volunteering program prepared a day for Grupo Envera and the Juan XXIII Foundation in which nearly 70 people from our organization participated.

Project DIGITAL14 of Grupo Envera - APMIB is a training course leading to the certificate of professionalism in recording operations and processing of data and documents whose recipients are unemployed people who have a certificate of physical, mental and/or sensory disability equal to or greater than 33%. The Project, which runs from January to December 2015, has a total duration of 1,026 hours of theoretical and practical training, including 80 hours of in-company training.
