The employees of the FOD (Foreign Object Debris/Damage) program at Iberia's Hangar 5, located in the La Muñoza complex, have decided to donate the amount of the FOD Excellence Award granted by Airbus to Envera - Association of Iberia Employees Parents of People with Disabilities, complying with all the transparency procedures that must accompany a social action of these characteristics and that the aeronautical company requires. With this award, which Airbus grants quarterly to its work teams and which always has a solidarity purpose, the multinational wanted to recognize its employees, who work with Iberia in Hangar 5, for "the speed with which they have been updated in the FOD techniques", which allow to eliminate waste and objects that can compromise the aircraft, as Alberto Castrillo, responsible for Airbus, said in a ceremony that took place in the hangar itself.

The multinational Sopra Steria and Envera - Association of Iberia Employees Parents of People with Disabilities have signed an agreement on corporate social responsibility with the aim of mutually collaborating in the development of social and labor actions aimed at improving the quality of life and, where appropriate, the social and labor integration of people with disabilities, as well as promoting CSR. "Business efficiency is no longer possible without social responsibility," said Pedro Sobrino, CEO of Envera, who expressed the company's willingness to contribute "to help Sopra Steria go further, making the technological revolution it is driving also a social transformation towards equal opportunities".

Madrid's Teatro de la Zarzuela hosted last Sunday, May 1, a solidarity concert organized by Iberia in favor of Envera, whose protagonist was the tenor Plácido Domingo, a universal figure who is committed to this organization: "It is a great illusion to unite music and solidarity, and contribute to a cause that improves the lives of so many people". A dozen young people with and without disabilities have paraded down the catwalk that Envera installed on March 17 at the Islazul Shopping Center in Madrid together with Being Inclusive, with the aim of celebrating the I Inclusive Fashion Day. The event aimed to "normalize" disability in fashion and claim that "dressing is a right" for all people. Following the example of the New York Fashion Week held last year, this shopping center laid out the red carpet on Thursday to be walked by models with and without disabilities, who wore clothes from different brands, such as Kiabi, Inside, Pimkie or Shana. The initiative showed that disability must also be present in the fashion world.

The Islazul Shopping Center, in its dedication to collaborate in actions that promote the inclusion of people with disabilities, will host next Thursday 17 the I Inclusive Fashion Day, organized by Envera - Association of Employees of Iberia Parents of People with Disabilities, which has in Islazul the first solidarity space in a shopping center in Europe, and Being Inclusive, an entrepreneurial project of inclusive fashion with a social character.
