The Director General of Employment of the Community of Madrid visits Envera

Envera: 45 years of history with people with intellectual disabilities as protagonists

Since 1977, Envera has been helping people with intellectual disabilities to take their place in the world with dignity, assisting 4,800 people and their families every year and providing stable employment to more than 850 under the motto 'We can all be the best at something'. It has offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga and the Canary Islands, and has 300 athletes in its Club Ícaro-Envera, 250 volunteers and more than 300 public and private entities that collaborate with its social action.
Students with disabilities complete the 8th edition of the Envera Cooking Course "Cocina Formándote".

The general manager of Envera, Enrique Grande, presented the diplomas and certificates of completion of the Formándote Cooking course to the seven students of Envera's Labor Insertion Service who have completed their training as kitchen assistants.
Cocina Formándote', the Envera's cooking course

The main objective of the 'Cocina Formándote' course is to enable and train people with disabilities to perform tasks related to the hospitality sector as kitchen assistants and thus gain access to one of the most sought-after professions in the labor market. With eight editions and more than 70 students trained, this course enables students to enter a sector with great employment opportunities.
Envera's students with intellectual disabilities achieve a 100% pass rate in Secondary Education.

Students with intellectual disabilities in the Gradúate en Secundaria Program that Envera offers in Madrid have achieved a 100% pass rate in the final exams of the course that has just ended. In addition, four of them have achieved the official title of graduate in Secondary Education that gives them the possibility of access to higher education and improves their chances of finding their first job. The registration period for the 2022-2023 academic year is now open for the Secondary Education, Crece Formándote and Destination Employment programs.

Iberia supports Envera's social work with a charity auction of its historic uniforms

Iberia commemorates its 95 years of history and Envera its 45th anniversary, and both organizations share history and aeronautical DNA.
