The Christmas campaign has brought new employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities in the labor insertion group of Envera's Occupational Center in Colmenar Viejo. Thanks to the expansion of the high quality manipulation services that Envera offers to companies, seven young people have obtained a job, being for most of them their first contact with the working world.

Envera has FREE specific training programs for people with disabilities to improve their opportunities. A good example of this is that so far this year alone, seven students with disabilities have already found employment thanks to Envera and the companies that support its social mission.

The Councillor for Families, Equality and Social Welfare of the Madrid City Council, José Aniorte, visited this Friday the headquarters of Envera to see first hand the support and care services and job placement that Envera offers to people with intellectual disabilities through its Early Care and Neurodevelopmental Center, Training and Occupational Center with Residence.

The Air Traffic Controllers Union (USCA) has financed the adaptation of a new outdoor recreational space already enjoyed by the thirty-three beneficiaries with intellectual disabilities at Envera's Day Center for People with Great Support Needs in Colmenar Viejo. The 'Espacio USCA' has been inaugurated by the president of USCA, Pedro Gragera, and the president of Envera, José Antonio Quintero.

The SEPLA-Ayuda Foundation and Envera take a step forward in the close collaboration that both entities have maintained for years for the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities, with the signing of an agreement that allows three children with disabilities and their families without resources to access the treatments of Envera's Early Intervention Service.

Envera has been selected, for the second consecutive year, in the 2021 Call for ENAIRE subsidies aimed at social entities for the development of job placement and job creation activities for people with disabilities. With a grant of 77,800 euros and thanks to the second edition of Envera's ENAIRE Project, 150 people with disabilities will benefit from the labor insertion programs with which Envera will promote their employment, especially among companies of the aeronautical sector.

The Community of Madrid offers for the first time the possibility of doing training internships in Metro de Madrid to young people with intellectual disabilities thanks to the agreement reached between the Department of Transport and Infrastructures and Envera. This is a pioneer action in the history of the suburban railway by means of which these people will be able to perform different functions in different areas of the company as from January next year.

The Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, presided over the presentation this morning of the Envera 2022 Solidarity Calendar, which features the cover with people with intellectual disabilities from Envera and the president of Madrid Foro Empresarial. The event took place at the headquarters of the Madrid Business Confederation (CEIM) and is part of the commemoration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is celebrated tomorrow.

The 'Envera Punto de Inclusión' project has been awarded at the CSR and Global Sustainability Week Congress as one of the four award-winning initiatives among the eighty that have been presented at the thirteenth edition of this benchmark event on corporate social responsibility. Envera was also the second most voted initiative (more than 650 likes) by followers on social networks.
