Envera's "Mobility without limits" project receives BBVA's Territorios Solidarios award

Envera has won the Territorios Solidarios award granted by BBVA to finance with 6,000 euros the project "Movement without limits", which aims to acquire an adapted vehicle that allows the comfortable and safe mobility of people with intellectual disabilities and reduced mobility that Envera attends in its Support and Care Services and who regularly perform activities outside the facilities of the social entity.
3,000 people enjoyed the inclusive storytelling performed by the Envera Occupational Center.

The company "Cuento contigo", made up of beneficiaries and professionals from the Envera Occupational Center, ends its season after 25 performances that have been enjoyed by nearly 3,000 people, mostly students from schools in Madrid. Through the musical storytelling "La cebra Camila", the twenty performers and three musicians of Envera have brought to the audience values such as inclusion, self-improvement and teamwork.
Fifteen students with disabilities are trained by Agro Envera to get a job.

Envera closes a new edition of the Agro Envera project, in which fifteen people with disabilities have been trained and worked, with a ceremony attended by Álvaro Agustín Dávila, mayor of Tacoronte, and María Teresa Pociello, provincial president of the Red Cross. Agro Envera is a training project in alternation with employment that Envera has given in Tenerife throughout 2018, with the support of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security and the Canary Employment Service, and from which unemployed people have benefited, who have been able to qualify professionally and, in turn, have an employment contract.
Envera's people with disabilities and the Airbus company, protagonists of our 2019 solidarity calendar.

Envera launches its 2019 solidarity calendar made jointly with the multinational Airbus, patron of its guardianship Foundation, whose employees share the limelight with the people with intellectual disabilities that Envera assists throughout their life cycle. The calendar reflects the values that the multinational Airbus shares with Envera, which are also those of a society committed to equal opportunities and social justice, teamwork, innovation and the desire to excel, where everyone can be the best at something and where everyone counts.
The City Council of El Prat recognizes the collaboration of Envera for the labor integration of people with disabilities.

A total of 285 organizations have participated in the programs and services to promote quality employment managed by the City Council of El Prat de Llobregat. To thank them for their support, the "Companies for Employment" conference was held on November 22, where the importance of collaboration between the business network and the City Council to facilitate access and permanence of people living in the municipality to quality employment was also highlighted. Among the distinguished organizations, Envera received for the second consecutive year the award for its participation in the 30+ and Fem Formació labor inclusion and insertion programs. The former is aimed at the employment of unemployed people over 30 years of age and the latter for the labor market insertion of unemployed young people under 25 years of age and in a situation of social exclusion.
The G-18 group supports Envera's work with a donation of 10,000 euros.

executives of Discrecional G-18, a group made up of six leading companies in the road passenger transport sector, have presented Envera's general manager, Pedro Sobrino, with a donation of 10,000 euros for the Association's social purposes. Discrecional G-18, which includes the companies SAMAR, Maitours, Nájera, Juliá, Vera and Grupo Ruiz, makes possible the service of routes that Envera's beneficiaries use every day to get to the Integral Center for Disability or to go on excursions.
Envera and Fundación MAPFRE collaborate in the employment of people with intellectual disabilities.

Envera and Fundación MAPFRE collaborate in the labor insertion of people with intellectual disabilities through the program Juntos Somos Capaces (Together We Can), which aims to help people with intellectual disabilities and mental illness get a job. This program, promoted by Fundación MAPFRE and to which Envera has adhered since 2012, seeks to "promote relations between companies and social entities from an innovative approach in terms of equity and social cohesion" in the field of Competitive Social Responsibility (CSR).
Envera's summer in the Canary Islands: labor inclusion and solidarity

For most people, the summer season evokes rest and holiday retreat with which many want to leave aside, at least temporarily, work and studies. This is not so for the people who make up Envera, an association that for more than 40 years has been accompanying people with intellectual disabilities throughout their life cycle, providing them with Support and Care Services and employment. For this non-profit organization summer is a time of opportunities. So much so that in recent weeks and only in its delegation of Gran Canaria, seven people with disabilities have accessed a job in ordinary companies.
Envera to host the Special Olympics Championship to be held in November in Colmenar Viejo

The Mayor of Colmenar Viejo, the Councilor for Sports, the general director of Special Olympics Spain, the managing director of Special Olympics Madrid and the general director of Envera, presented this morning at the City Hall the II Special Olympics Tournament of women's basketball to be held at the Comprehensive Disability Center of Envera from 23 to 25 November and in which fifty athletes with intellectual disabilities from Castilla y León, Castilla - La Mancha, Catalonia and Madrid will participate. The Tournament, which also includes an exhibition of rhythmic gymnastics, is part of the Women and Disability project of Special Olympics and that for Envera is also a "double priority".
