Envera Punto de Inclusión opens a space in Carrefour Prat thanks to the social commitment of Carmila and Carrefour Property

Carrefour Property, the company that leads the real estate strategy of the Carrefour Group, Carmila, a company specialized in the revitalization of shopping centers adjacent to Carrefour hypermarkets, and Envera, a non-profit organization that for 43 years has dedicated its efforts to the care, training, job placement, residential care and guardianship of people with intellectual disabilities, have inaugurated this Wednesday a new Envera Inclusion Point in the Carrefour Prat shopping center, located in El Prat de Llobregat.

Industry talks: aeronautics industry and disability, a paradox?

Envera's CEO, Enrique Grande, has participated in Industry Talks, the first online conference platform of the industry sector, to talk about the aeronautical industry and the employment of people with disabilities, explaining the model that Envera has been developing for decades to generate employment opportunities in this sector.

Coca-Cola and Envera promote twelve emotional support meetings for COVID-19

More than 140 people with intellectual disabilities from Envera participated, both beneficiaries of Support and Care Services and professionals from the Special Employment Centers of all the delegations.

Throughout twelve sessions and in small groups, the people of Envera have been able to share, in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, both their experiences and the emotions and concerns that the pandemic situation has generated in them.

More than 200 new jobs for people with disabilities at the height of the pandemic

Thanks to Envera's labor inclusion programs and the companies that collaborate with this non-profit social entity, more than 200 people with disabilities, mostly intellectual, have obtained employment during the last year, which has been marked by COVID-19.

Despite the difficulties arising from the impact of the health, social and economic crisis caused by the coronavirus, Envera's Job Placement Service works tirelessly to improve the employability of people with disabilities.

Envera's students with disabilities complete their internships at the Housing Department of the Community of Madrid

The Community of Madrid and Envera collaborate in training for the job placement of people with intellectual disabilities by facilitating the incorporation of students over 18 years of age with intellectual disabilities to work practices in the Department of Housing and Local Administration and the Social Housing Agency. The training began in 2020 and, after an interruption due to the pandemic, have ended in 2021.

The Councilor for Housing and Local Administration, David Perez, today presented a diploma and a certificate to the three Envera students who have completed their internships for a period of three months, rotating monthly through different departments, with the aim of facilitating their access to the world of work and learn about the functioning of the administration in order to prepare for competitive examinations.
