Envera and the Department of Social Policies, Families, Equality and Birth of the Community of Madrid, directed by Concepción Dancausa, have agreed to carry out training practices to promote the employability of people with intellectual disabilities. Thanks to this agreement, Envera students will carry out internships in different areas of the Ministry, which will allow them to improve their curriculum and learn how the public administration works in order to prepare for competitive examinations.

Ten runners with disabilities will complete, by relays, the 42.195 kilometers of the Madrid Marathon thanks to the initiative promoted by Mapoma and Coca-Cola, which has been presented together with the Madrid City Council at the Vallehermoso Stadium. Envera, as last year when this unique race was held for the first time in the world, participates with its athlete Daniel. In addition, the organization of the Disfriendly Marathon has recognized Envera for its participation.

The Corresponsables Foundation has recognized Envera as a 'Corresponsable Organization' at the closing of its Annual Conference in Madrid, held this Tuesday in the auditorium of IESE and which has had more than 630 attendees in person and more than 75,000 streaming views. The president of Corresponsables and of the Observatorio de la Comunicación Responsable presented the award to the CEO of Envera, a social organization that received the award together with other leading companies in their sectors, such as ENAIRE.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Envera has held in Malaga the conference 'Women, employment and disability, a great challenge', with the participation of managers of large companies and public administration who have spoken of inclusion and equality as essential factors for the competitiveness of their organizations, with special emphasis on the talent of professionals with disabilities.

On the eve of International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8, Envera organizes a conference with leading companies in their sector that have broken the mold, breaking down prejudices by promoting the hiring of women with disabilities, a part of the population that, according to the Observatory on Disability and Labor Market, of the ONCE-ODISMET Foundation (2021), suffers from unemployment and inactivity in 66.7% compared to 23.3% of non-disabled people of working age.

Envera has made a new shipment of material to the 'Vicente del Bosque' Soccer School in Senegal with the collaboration of the company Iberia and MAPOMA, which consisted of the donation of 120 suits for men and women and more than a hundred sports shoes. The shipment is in addition to the previous ones already made by Envera, which has maintained a close collaboration with the School since 2020 and with its founder, Limamou M'Bengue.

Every year in Spain there are more than a thousand cases of childhood cancer in children from 0 to 14 years old, according to data from the AECC. From the moment of diagnosis, the lives of patients and their families change radically, transforming their routines into a constant hustle and bustle of hospital visits and medical treatments. For this reason, families are calling for the 33% disability rate to be recognized from the time the disease is diagnosed.

Almost 80 people with disabilities have been employed in 2022 thanks to Envera and Incorpora. The general manager of Envera has signed the adhesion to the Incorpora Program of "la Caixa" Foundation to promote the employment of people with disabilities, especially intellectual disabilities, through Envera's Labor Insertion Service which, throughout 2022, inserted 79 candidates in 38 companies, which were also advised and accompanied during the selection process.

Sacyr Services and Envera have agreed to collaborate in the area of social responsibility to promote the social inclusion and employment of people with disabilities, especially intellectual disabilities, through an agreement that will facilitate training internships for students of Envera's Kitchen Assistant courses in Sacyr's cafeteria and catering services, as well as their labor market insertion. This is the case of Marta Hernández, an Envera student with a disability, who ended the year 2022 with an employment contract at Cafestore.
