Envera athletes will participate in the Popular Marathon of Madrid next April 24

Two Envera athletes will participate, along with other runners with intellectual disabilities, in a relay test that will allow them to complete the 42 kilometers of the Popular Marathon of Madrid, for the first time in its history, will feature this test 'DisFriendly' in one of the most important sporting events in the capital. This was announced at the official presentation of the Zurich RNR Running Series Madrid at the headquarters of the Madrid City Council with Mayor Martínez-Almeida, Deputy Mayor Villacís, the Deputy Minister of Sports of the Community of Madrid, MAPOMA, Zurich, Coca-Cola and Envera, among other entities.

Witnessing life under the bombs for people with intellectual disabilities in Ukraine

Envera collaborates in the care of disabled refugees arriving in Madrid from Ukraine

Envera has made available to the Community of Madrid several places for the care of Ukrainian refugees with disabilities in its Early Care and Neurodevelopmental Center for Children and Adolescents as well as in its Occupational Center where it regularly serves more than 200 children and 50 adults with intellectual disabilities.

Envera's 'ENAIRE Project' progresses with the employment of 63 people with disabilities

Envera's Labor Insertion Service has managed to employ 63 people with disabilities thanks to the support of ENAIRE, which finances, through its Call 2021 of subsidies for social entities, one of the most important employment projects carried out by Envera. Besides, 23 of these insertions have been carried out in companies of the aeronautical sector.

Envera students give an "A" grade to training programs in Gran Canaria

Envera has trained 90 people with disabilities, 12 of whom have found employment thanks to the training and job placement projects that the social entity provides free of charge in Gran Canaria in collaboration with the Canary Islands Employment Service. Moreover, the students have rated these courses very positively with an average score of 4.3 out of 5 in the questionnaires carried out at the end of their training.

Envera and Islazul send more than 8,000 kilos of humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Last Friday, a trailer loaded with more than 300 boxes of humanitarian material donated by a multitude of people left Madrid for the collection point that Envera, HSI and the Islazul Shopping Center opened on March 4. The following day, a second truck completed the collection of more than 8,000 kilos destined to help the population resisting the Russian invasion siege inside the country.
