Pedro Núñez Morgades, Envera's new patron, visits Colmenar Viejo's welfare, employment and residential centers

Pedro Núñez Morgades, new member of Envera's Board of Trustees, visited this Tuesday the Entity's centers in Colmenar Viejo together with José Antonio Quintero, President of Envera - Asociación de Empleados de Iberia Padres de Personas con Discapacidad (Association of Iberia Employees Parents of People with Disabilities).

With this visit, Núñez Morgades wanted to know in person the daily activities carried out by the beneficiaries and professionals of the Residence for the prematurely aged 45 years old and over, the Residence for the seriously affected, the Guardianship Foundation, the Special Employment Center, Sports and the Day and Occupational Center.

"If we had opportunities in ordinary companies, there would be no need for special employment centers."

Pedro Sobrino, General Manager, and Andrés Serna, worker of the Special Employment Center, represented Envera - Association of Iberia Employees Parents of People with Disabilities during the meeting organized by Abdón Pedrajas & Molero in Madrid on labor law, which was also attended by Xavier J. Braulio Thibault, General Director of Employment of the Ministry of Employment and Social Security, Ángel Blasco, Supreme Court Judge and Agustín González, Human Resources Director of Ferrovial Services, among others.

Belén Esteban has returned to visit the Madrid delegation of Envera - Association of Iberia Employees Parents of People with Disabilities almost a year after donating to this organization the prize received after winning a reality TV show, which has allowed Envera's Early Attention Service to have new therapeutic tools to continue assisting children up to 6 years of age with disabilities.

Dream - It CIONET visits Envera with the heads of the Latest Technologies of the main companies.

The Dream-It Foundation has once again visited the centers in Colmenar Viejo of Envera - Asociación de Empleados de Iberia Padres de Personas con Discapacidad and, on this occasion, Mona Biegstraaten, President of CIONET Spain and Latin America, and Luis Miguel Rosa, General Director of the largest community of Information Technology (IT) managers in Europe, were accompanied by the CIONET Advisory Board, twenty-two professionals from leading companies in Spain.

Iberia and Airbus employees donate Airbus FOD Excellence Award to Envera

The employees of the FOD (Foreign Object Debris/Damage) program at Iberia's Hangar 5, located in the La Muñoza complex, have decided to donate the amount of the FOD Excellence Award granted by Airbus to Envera - Association of Iberia Employees Parents of People with Disabilities, complying with all the transparency procedures that must accompany a social action of these characteristics and that the aeronautical company requires.

With this Award, which Airbus grants quarterly to its work teams and which always has a solidarity purpose, the multinational wanted to recognize its employees, who work together with Iberia in Hangar 5, for "the speed with which they have updated their FOD techniques", which allow them to eliminate waste and objects that can compromise the aircraft, as Alberto Castrillo, head of Airbus, said in a ceremony that took place in the hangar itself.

Sopra Steria and Envera sign a collaboration agreement to promote CSR

The multinational Sopra Steria and Envera - Association of Iberia Employees Parents of People with Disabilities have signed an agreement on corporate social responsibility with the aim of mutually collaborating in the development of social and labor actions aimed at improving the quality of life and, where appropriate, the social and labor integration of people with disabilities, as well as promoting CSR.

"Business efficiency is no longer possible without social responsibility," said Pedro Sobrino, CEO of Envera, who expressed the company's willingness to contribute "to help Sopra Steria go further, making the technological revolution it is driving a social transformation towards equal opportunities.

Madrid's Teatro de la Zarzuela hosted last Sunday, May 1, a solidarity concert organized by Iberia in favor of Envera, whose protagonist was the tenor Plácido Domingo, a universal figure who is committed to this organization: "It is a great illusion to unite music and solidarity, and contribute to a cause that improves the lives of so many people".

The Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid, under the baton of conductor Óliver Díaz, put music to an evening conducted by Paralympic fencer Gema Hassen-Bey and in which a total of eight singers performed different areas of opera and zarzuela such as Chélla mi creda, Quando ménvo, Me llaman la primorosa or Libiamo Ne'lieti Calici before a dedicated and committed audience that made the "no tickets available" sign go up.

The Secretary of State for R&D&I receives Envera students doing their internships at the Ministry of Economy.

The Secretary of State for Research, Development and Innovation, Carmen Vela, and the Undersecretary of Economy and Competitiveness, Miguel Temboury, have received this Thursday at the Ministry of Economy the students with intellectual disabilities who are doing their training practices in various ministerial offices.
