The Community of Madrid and Envera sign an agreement for the realization of work practices

People with intellectual disabilities will be able to carry out training practices in dependencies of the Community of Madrid thanks to the agreement signed this Monday by the Regional Ministers of Presidency, Justice and Spokesman of the Regional Government, Ángel Garrido, and of Social Policies and Family, Carlos Izquierdo; and by Envera - Association of Employees of Iberia Parents of People with Disabilities.

The purpose of the agreement, which is valid until December 31, 2018 with the possibility of extending it for up to four more years, is to carry out training internships for people with intellectual disabilities in order to promote their social and labor insertion.

Envera celebrates its VIII Solidarity Golf Tournament at Nuevo Club de Golf de Madrid

Envera has held for the eighth consecutive year the Solidarity Golf Tournament in order to support the social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. In this edition, the championship was held at the Nuevo Club de Golf de Madrid in Las Matas and was attended by the mayor of Las Rozas, José de la Uz, his councilor of Presidency, Gustavo Adolfo Rico, the general director of Envera, Pedro Sobrino, as well as Iberia and Pedro Núñez Morgades on behalf of Envera's patrons. The sportsmen of the Club Ícaro-Envera had a special role as caddies and collaborating in the organization of the Tournament.

Company internships facilitate access to the labor market for people with disabilities

Andrés Rodríguez came to Envera with one goal in mind: to train to get his first job. On the advice of his brother Eduardo, an alumnus of this organization dedicated to the social and occupational integration of people with intellectual disabilities, Andrés joined the Semilla Project, promoted by Envera in Tenerife, as a student.

During the 2015-2016 academic year, Andrés and fourteen other colleagues, all of them people with disabilities, worked to obtain the two professional certificates to which this training project gives access: Auxiliary Activities in Agriculture and Auxiliary Activities in Gardens, Nurseries and Garden Centers.

Envera visits the Air Museum thanks to Salesforce volunteers

The close collaboration between Salesforce and Grupo Envera was once again exemplified in an activity organized last Friday at the Air Museum.

Professionals from the Salesforce Corporate Volunteering program prepared a day for Grupo Envera and the Juan XXIII Foundation in which nearly 70 people from our organization participated.

IX Employment and Disability Fair at IFEMA

On November 18 and 19, Pavilion 2 of the IFEMA fairgrounds in Madrid once again hosted the 9th edition of the Employment and Disability Fair with the aim of bringing together employers and people with disabilities seeking employment to facilitate their integration, as well as to raise awareness in society and activate labor participation.

For the ninth consecutive year, we set up the Envera stand so that visitors could get to know us closely. In the 2014 edition, a total of 1,343 resumes were received in person and through the form on the official website of the fair. It is expected that this year the number of resumes collected will be similar.

Juan Manuel Moreno visits the Malaga Special Employment Center

The visit of Juan Manuel Moreno (PP-A) coincides with the dangerous situation in which the center finds itself due to the non-payment of twelve million euros by the Junta de Andalucía. This amount, which should have been destined since 2014 to Malaga organizations dedicated to the labor insertion of people with disabilities, puts at risk more than 2,500 jobs.

The Institute for Social and Socio-sanitary Care of Tenerife and Grupo Envera collaborate in the integration of people with disabilities.

Last Friday, November 6, representatives of the Institute of Social and Socio-sanitary Care (IASS), an autonomous body of the Island Council of Tenerife, and representatives of Grupo Envera held a meeting to discuss the services provided by the association.

The director of the Montemadrid Foundation visits Radio Terrícola

The general director of the Montemadrid Foundation, José Guirao, and its director of social and educational programs, Cristóbal Sánchez, visited Envera's facilities in the Community of Madrid.

The Montemadrid Foundation has long been one of Envera's main collaborators and its representatives had the opportunity to see first-hand the work carried out at the Group's headquarters in the capital, as well as the training classrooms of the Professional and Adult Education Program, the early care unit and the special employment center.
